Responsibilities



The Marketing Communication Strategist will drive the development and implement integrated marketing communication programs to promote the company's brand image to help drive business results. Collaborate with marketing and other cross-functional teams on strategic planning and results accountabilities. Lead project management activities for marketing communication projects with high degrees of complexity, visibility and risk. Contribute to an environment that encourages teamwork, knowledge sharing, best practice adherence, and strategic thinking that results in consistently high-quality and innovative communication outcomes that deliver on-time, on-strategy, and on budget.


Additional responsibilities may include:



+ Digital/ Content Marketing: Lead development of digital strategy, including creation of email marketing strategies, targeted, well-written web content, and social media. Drive content strategy, development and execution across all marketing channels to increase brand awareness, engagement, acquisition, retention and pipeline. Measure and analyze effectiveness of campaigns.


+ Project/ Resource Management: Manage projects/resources to accomplish marketing communication objectives in an effective and efficient manner. Manage project execution workflow, timing, budget, reporting and results. Balance need for top-quality communications with high impact and accuracy with prudent cost containment. Partner with others to rectify problems with the projects and processes.


+ Strategy: Direct integrated marketing communication programs, strategies and staffing in alignment with business unit goals. Translate marketing/business plans, competitive research and information into effective, efficient and innovative communication strategies that support business unit goals. Plan, organize, direct, control and manage complex marketing communication projects. Identify and analyze industry trends to recommend new strategies and solutions to grow marketplace competitiveness.


+ Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, and serve as liaison across the enterprise, IT, digital resources, and marketing to lead marketing campaigns. Serve as liaison to and between external advertising agencies, technology firms, print suppliers and other marketing related vendors.


+ Other: Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.




Qualifications



Skills required:



+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 8 years' experience.


+ 6+ years related work experience in project management and marketing communications. (Financial Services Industry experience is preferred.)


+ Strong storytelling and Customer Experience (CX) is preferred.



Successful candidates will have the following:



+ Must understand and have demonstrated experience in applying various digital platforms and experience with content marketing as well as implementing full scale integrated marketing campaigns.


+ Strong diplomacy skills, confidence, and tact are required.


+ Must have demonstrated project management, problem-solving, analytical, presentation, listening, and oral and written communication skills required.


+ Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and pay strict attention to detail.


+ Ability to build and maintain relationships in a matrix-driven environment, manage expectations and focus on results-orientation in a deadline-driven, multiple project environment.


+ Travel, including overnight stays, may be required up to 10% of the time.


+ Business unit and company products knowledge.


+ Understanding of integrated marketing to include social, digital, brand building, media and corporate communications.
